Who We Are

RetroPaint is developed and published by MCMLV1 LLC, a technology company based in the United States. This privacy policy applies specifically to the RetroPaint application distributed on Google Play and the Samsung Galaxy Store.

Information We Collect

RetroPaint does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• No names, email addresses, or contact information collected by the application
• No location data or GPS information
• No device identifiers collected by the application itself
• No user accounts, sign-ins, or registrations
• No analytics, usage tracking, or telemetry sent by the application
• No photos or camera access (images are loaded only when you choose to import them)

Locally Stored Data

The app stores a small amount of non-personal data on your device using local storage. This includes your current canvas state (so your painting is preserved between sessions), your Pro purchase status, and tool preferences. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to any server, and can be cleared at any time by clearing the app data in your device settings.

Paintings and Images

Paintings you create in RetroPaint are saved to your device gallery only when you tap the Save button. Images are shared only when you tap the Share button and select a destination. RetroPaint does not upload, transmit, or back up your paintings to any server. Your artwork stays on your device unless you choose to share it.

Advertising

RetroPaint does not contain any advertising. No advertising SDKs, advertising identifiers, or ad-related tracking of any kind are included in the application.

In-App Purchases

RetroPaint offers an optional one-time in-app purchase of $1.99 to unlock Pro features. This transaction is processed entirely by Google Play (or Samsung Galaxy Store, depending on where the app was installed). MCMLV1 LLC does not collect, process, or store any payment or billing information. Your purchase status is managed by the app store and cached locally on your device.

Children's Privacy

RetroPaint does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app does not collect personal information from any user. The app contains no advertising and no third-party tracking services. RetroPaint is suitable for all ages.

Permissions

RetroPaint requests the following Android permissions:

• BILLING — Required for the optional Pro upgrade via Google Play. This permission allows the app to communicate with the app store on your device to process in-app purchases.
• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13+) or WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below) — Required to save your paintings to your device gallery.

No internet permission is requested. The application does not make network connections.

Data Sharing

MCMLV1 LLC does not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data to third parties. No third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms are integrated into the application.

Data Security

Because RetroPaint does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data at risk. Canvas data and preferences stored locally on your device are protected by your device's own security measures.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
