QR Code Generator – Offline — Effective August 10, 2026

Who We Are

QR Code Generator Offline is developed and published by MCMLV1 LLC, a technology company based in the United States. This privacy policy applies specifically to the QR Code Generator Offline application distributed on Google Play.

Information We Collect

QR Code Generator Offline does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• No names, email addresses, or contact information collected by the application
• No location data or GPS information
• No device identifiers collected by the application itself
• No user accounts, sign-ins, or registrations
• No analytics, usage tracking, or telemetry sent by the application
• No photos, camera access, or microphone access

Locally Stored Data

The app stores data on your device in three places, all of them under your control:

• History and preferences — your QR code history (the text, URLs, Wi-Fi credentials and contact information you entered), your theme choice and your Pro status, held in the app’s local storage.
• A local archive of your codes — a PNG, and for Pro users an SVG, of every code you make, kept in the app’s own private storage so you can reopen, reprint and re-share a code later.
• Your own copies — each code is also saved as a picture in your photo gallery, under DCIM/QRCodeGenerator, and Pro vector files under Downloads/QRCodeGenerator. Once written, these are ordinary files on your phone. If you use a photo sync service such as Google Photos, that service’s own settings determine what happens to them; the app has no part in that.

Wi-Fi passwords, contact details and payment addresses entered into the app are stored only on your device. They are never transmitted to MCMLV1 LLC or to any third party. All of it can be cleared at any time from the app’s Manage screen, or by clearing the app’s data in your device settings.

Android Auto Backup

Android includes a backup feature that copies app data to your own Google Drive. If it is switched on for your device, Android — not this app — may copy the app’s history and its local archive of your codes to your Google account, so they return when you set up a new phone. This is a standard Android feature, controlled by you in your device settings, and MCMLV1 LLC has no access to those backups. Your Pro purchase status is deliberately excluded from it, because entitlement comes from Google Play rather than from a restored file.

The app also offers a Backup Zip you can create yourself, containing your saved codes and history. Where that file goes afterwards — cloud storage, email, a USB stick — is entirely your choice.

Advertising

QR Code Generator Offline does not contain any advertising. No advertising SDKs, advertising identifiers, or ad-related tracking of any kind are included in the application.

In-App Purchases

The app is free to download and your first QR code is free to make and keep. An optional one-time in-app purchase of $5.00 unlocks unlimited codes, SVG vector export, custom filenames and unlimited history. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. The transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. MCMLV1 LLC does not collect, process, or store any payment or billing information, and never sees your card details. Your purchase status is managed by Google Play and cached locally on your device.

Children's Privacy

QR Code Generator Offline does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app does not collect personal information from any user. The app contains no advertising and no third-party tracking services.

Permissions

QR Code Generator Offline requests the following Android permission:

• BILLING — Required for the optional Pro upgrade via Google Play. This permission allows the app to communicate with the Google Play Store app on your device to process in-app purchases. No direct internet connections are made by the application itself.

No other permissions are requested or required. The application does not request internet access, network state, location, camera, or microphone permissions. Saved images are written through Android’s own media system, which needs no storage permission. You can confirm the full list at any time in Android’s App info screen.

Data Sharing

MCMLV1 LLC does not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data to third parties. No third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms are integrated into the application.

Data Security

Because QR Code Generator Offline does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data at risk. QR generation history and preferences stored locally on your device are protected by your device's own security measures.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
