Who We Are

TalkTogether: Voice Translator is developed and published by MCMLV1 LLC, a technology company based in the United States specializing in privacy-first, offline-capable software tools.

What We Collect

Nothing. Zero. Nada.

TalkTogether does not collect, access, transmit, or store any of your personal information. Your voice recordings are processed entirely on your device by on-device AI models and are immediately discarded after transcription and translation. Your conversation history is stored locally on your device only.

How It Works

• Speech recognition runs entirely on your device using Whisper AI
• Translation runs entirely on your device using OPUS-MT neural networks
• Text-to-speech uses your phone's built-in voice engine

Microphone Permission

TalkTogether requests microphone permission solely to capture your voice for on-device speech recognition. Your voice audio is processed in real-time by the Whisper AI model running on your phone's processor. Audio data is immediately discarded after transcription is complete. Your voice is never recorded to a permanent file, never uploaded, and never transmitted to any server or third party.

Your Data

• Conversation history stored locally on your device only
• Never transmitted to any server (we don't have servers for your data)
• Never shared with third parties (there's nothing to share)
• Can be shared individually via the in-app share function
• Can be deleted individually or cleared entirely via the app
• Persists between app sessions on your device only

Network Access

TalkTogether requires internet access for two purposes only: a one-time language model download when you first select a language pair (approximately 45MB per language), and subscription verification through Google Play Billing or Samsung In-App Purchase depending on where you downloaded the app.

After the initial language download, all core functionality — speech recognition, translation, text-to-speech, and conversation history — works completely offline. The app operates identically in airplane mode after setup.

No analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or telemetry of any kind are included in the app. Your voice data and translated conversations are never transmitted over the network.

AI Models

TalkTogether uses two types of on-device AI models:

Whisper Tiny (Speech Recognition): A multilingual speech-to-text model downloaded once and stored locally. Converts your spoken words to text entirely on your phone's processor.

OPUS-MT (Translation): Neural machine translation models from Helsinki-NLP, downloaded once per language pair and stored locally. Translates text between languages entirely on your phone's processor. No cloud inference, no API calls, no remote processing.

Third-Party Services

Google Play Billing: Processes the optional $0.99/month subscription for unlimited translations when downloaded from Google Play. Subject to Google Play's terms and privacy policies.

Samsung In-App Purchase: Processes the optional $0.99/month subscription for unlimited translations when downloaded from Samsung Galaxy Store. Subject to Samsung's terms and privacy policies.

Model Hosting: Language model files are hosted on a CDN for the one-time initial download. No personal data or identifiers are transmitted during this download.

Google Text-to-Speech: TalkTogether uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine (typically Google Speech Services) to read translations aloud. Voice synthesis occurs entirely on your device. No text is sent to external servers for speech generation.

MCMLV1 LLC does not integrate any analytics, advertising, tracking, or data collection services in TalkTogether. No ads are displayed. No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs are included.

Data Retention

Your conversation history persists on your device until you:

• Delete individual entries via the conversation detail screen
• Clear all history via the Settings screen
• Manually clear app data through Android settings
• Uninstall the application

Children's Privacy

TalkTogether is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the app collects no personal data at all, there is no children's data to manage. The app does not target children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the new version on our website and in the app's store listings with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted in app updates.

Your Rights

Since TalkTogether collects no personal data, there is no data for us to access, modify, delete, or export on our end. You have complete control over your data because it exists only on your device.

You can share individual conversation entries at any time using the in-app share function. You can delete individual entries or clear all history through the app. You can remove all data at any time through Android app settings.
